Training Students for 40 Years

After completing a rigorous self-study process, WBA hosted a team of educators for a peer review on May 9-10. The visiting team has recommended WBA for full accreditation to the American Association of Christian Schools Accreditation Commission which will meet on June 26.

Woodcrest Baptist Academy

Woodcrest Baptist Academy was established in 1973 as an educational ministry of Woodcrest Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Clarke Poorman. WBA has gained the distinction of being a fundamental, separated, Christ-centered institution. Our curriculum emphasizes the traditional approach to classroom education. Our average classroom size is about 20 students. The teachers at WBA are dedicated to the responsibility of training young people academically, morally and spiritually. We are thrilled with the results that the Lord has given in our efforts.
